Hello Monday Hello James

Happy Monday! So this is going to be my last Hello Monday post and here's why. I'm going to be taking the whole month of December off from blogging for a few reasons.

1. I want to spend more time with my family and friends and don't want to have to worry about editing posts, and getting content up daily.

2. I have a lot of holiday work to do for baby gizmo. They actually pay me to blog so well, that's where my priority lies!

3. I want to enjoy taking photos of James more for me as opposed to for the blog.

So with that being said, I have a TON of posts and a ton of outfits to still share with you guys before Decemeber so it's going to be really busy around here and I'm going to skip these weekly posts to give me Mondays for more outfits!

SO! Here's what we did-

Monday was Derek's birthday (I posted about that last Monday) so we celebrated him!

Tuesday I did a deep cleaning of my house, took James to the playground, and my parents came over for dinner.

Wednesday James and I picked up my mom and went to Disneyland. Our passes were expired for three weeks and my amazing hubs let me renew it early so I was super excited. We had a blast.

Thursday and Friday were total chill days and great. Thursday we went shopping and Friday we spent the day at my parents house.

Saturday was family day and great. We saw that movie Free Birds and it was really cute! Then Derek took James out for a night of fun and we threw a little fiesta at my house with all the ladies from my church.  Such a good day. I made all the desserts. I did a light lemon cupcake with cream cheese frosting and then a chocolate fudge peanut butter one. It was nice having everyone over.

Sunday we had church and spent the rest of the day relaxing.

Today is awesome because Derek has off for Veterans Day! He's also off Friday which means he only works three days this week!

Thank you veterans for serving so selflessly! Special cheers to my dad who is a veteran!

Here's some photos I snapped this week-

Hello to a little birthday set up for a very special husband and dad!

Hello to turtle power. Daddy came home with some awesome ninja turtle presents one day.

Hello to sword fighting grandpa.

Hello to my funny cutie.

Hello to being creative. This is how I get my picky eater who never wants to eat to have his breakfast.

Hello to being super mom for an hour. I navigated the entire grocery store for an hour, filling my cart to the brim, all while James slept on my shoulder!

Hello to being sneaky. If you've got picky eaters blend spinach, carrots, and other veggies in with yogurt and frozen berries to get your kids eating a healthy meal they don't even know is healthy. Works like a charm.

Hello to stealing aunties chap stick.

Hello to the cutest little cupcake. And hello to a lot more.

Hello to movie time. Ring pops are a must in the theater.

Hello to gathering with the ladies of our church. And hello to cutie James.

Hello to daddy dressing James. I let him do that from time to time.

Hello to starbucks red cups. Tis the season.

We're off to spend the day at my grandparents house. I can't wait for all my family to get together. Hope you all have a fun week and thanks for following along my Hello Monday posts!! I'll be back tomorrow and every day after until December to show you tons of James and clothes.

  1. Oh my goodness... taking a blog break sounds amazing and I'm so happy you're doing this! It sounds like it will be really good for you and your family. That being said, I'll miss you in December and will be looking forward to January!

  2. Wow...I've never seen anyone pull off overalls the way you do in that pic! So cute! :) Those cupcakes look so good, are those peanut butter chips?? Yum! Also, I love the outfit your hubs picked out for James. Totally something Tony would choose if he had a son, Tony even has those same shoes.
