Just Another Typical Day Feeding Giraffes

So I guess feeding giraffes isn't really typical. Unless you happen to be in Fresno in which case you could go to the Fresno Zoo and feed them every day I suppose. But then you would probably be sick and tired of it after not too long and your wallet would be a lot slimmer.

James and I hit the zoo while we were in town and it was SO fun. Now we're from Los Angeles where everything is big and grand but I will be the first to admit that the Fresno zoo was actually way cooler than the LA zoo. Feeding giraffes? Feeding sting rays? Digging for Dino bones? Shows? Ummm ya, Fresno, you win hands down.

We had a really good time and I think the pictures show that. James was thrilled that Mr Giraffe licked his hand with his ginormous tongue and he's STILL talking about it. If you live near the area, go check it off your list of things to do.

And make sure you wear matching clothes with your kids because that's just fun! Since I brought up the topic, I'm sharing these matching photos with you because 1 is my child being the sweetest thing on the planet

2 is just cute...

and 3 is a typical photo depicting real life. The truth is, half of my photos look like this because toddlers aren't always into posing. I'm just keeping it real.

  1. Oh my gosh, you have those same matching sandals, I love it! We fed giraffes at the zoo last year, too, and it was so much fun!

    1. Ugh so jealous!!! I have wanted matching white converse or some color for us for awhile!! My friend used to work at the converse outlet by my parents.. I kept missing him at work.. He was going to give us a great discount but now he no longer works there. I can't wait to see you two in your matching kicks!
