Farm Fun

We recently went to a local family farm for the day and had a blast!

We had gone once before last October right before Halloween to pick pumpkins and I've been wanting to go back ever since.

This place is great. They have huge bounce "pillows", hay rides, games, a petting zoo, tons of wide open space for kids to run wild, fruit shooters (my husband loved this obviously), fields upon fields for fruit picking, and a big barn full of fruits to sample along with other goodies for purchase.

^^ I did my best to dress James farm appropriate.

^^ I bet the fruit shooters are very popular with the men.. I mean boys :)

^^ Pulling my baby boy to go get some fruit.

^^ Picking blackberries with daddy.

^^ James wasted no time shoveling his pickings into his mouth.

Besides blackberries we also took home raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, pluots (a plum and apricot mix that I had never heard of but were amazing), and DOUGHNUT PEACHES. Have you guys ever heard of them?! Well I hadn't and they are the best fruit I have ever had in my life no joke.

It was all around the best day ever. I just love doing special things like this. These are memories I will cherish forever.

Outfit Details-

I'm wearing a Free People tee (I have every color, they are amazing) and James is wearing a striped pocket tee and overalls from Zara.

  1. Yum I need to try a donut peach!! I love his little overalls. I went to a pumpkin patch in the fall and they had a pumpkin shooter, it was pretty fun. :)

  3. My heart just melted when I saw James's overalls! This is random but I had to tell you (since your'e a Disney enthusiast and encouraged me to go, if possible this summer) that we DID go to Disneyland and it was a really pleasant experience! It was hotter and more crowded than I would have liked and we only did 6 rides, but I will treasure my daughter's first visit nonetheless. So, thanks for the nudge :)
