Today I'm going to tell you a story about a hat. You see, I bought James a $5 hat from Old Navy the day before the 4th because I wanted him to look extra festive and his old baseball cap was too small.
On the 4th, James didn't want to wear the hat. In order to convince him, I told him that this hat was JUST LIKE DADDY'S HAT. What little boy doesn't want to be just like his dad? Well that did the trick.
So days pass, I plan outfits, and sometimes this red hat just doesn't go with the outfit I had planned. But James will run over to me crying- daddy's hat! Daddy's hat!
He wants to wear his hat that looks just like daddy's.
So, my friends, now you will understand why James is wearing this hat on some of my posts when you're thinking- hey, that red hat doesn't really go with that outfit.. Well, James thinks its does. And that's ok by me!
