Recipe: Cake Mix Cookies

Have you guys ever tried using cake mix to make cookies? I've always wanted to give them a shot and I finally got around to making them. You could probably use any kind of cake mix and add ins that you wanted. I decided to use a funfetti mix because hello, FUNFETTI! I basically made this recipe up and just bought whatever mix ins I thought would go well!

They turned out SO good.

Here's the ingredients I used-

1 box of funfetti cake mix
1 small package of vanilla flavored instant jello
1 package of white chocolate chips
1/2 cup of sprinkles
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

All I did was dump everything in a bowl and mix it all up. (I mixed the chips and sprinkles in last) I left some of the white chocolate chips out to use for later.

I rolled the dough in balls and put them on a cookie sheet.

Then I used the left over chips and pressed some on top of each ball to make them look extra fun and pretty.

They need to bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes and cool for about 30.

I am all aboard the cake mix cookie train now. They are so easy to make, unique, and they taste delicious. Next time your kids want to get in the kitchen and help you, make this recipe! James was easily able to help out with this one. What kid isn't going to want a fun cookie packed with cake mix, chips, and extra extra sprinkles?!!

Enjoy!
