Recipe: Backwards Cookies

I just recently tried my hand at backwards cookies, aka chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips. I was getting tired of making the same ol' chocolate chip cookies and wanted to give these a go. They turned out DELICIOUS so I wanted to share the recipe with you guys today.

Ingredients-

1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of white sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup of flour
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
Sprinkle of salt
1 bag of white chocolate chips

Directions-

All you  need to do is beat the butter with the sugars.
Then mix in everything else except the chocolate chips.

Mix in the white chocolate chips last.

Roll the dough into balls whatever size you want depending how small or large you want your cookies to be.
Put them on a baking sheet.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 9 minutes.

Ta-da! Fabulous cookies for you to eat and share! This recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies! Enjoy!

I hope you all don't mind when I share recipes. I know this isn't a food blog, but cooking and baking is such a huge part of my life. I'm in the kitchen every single day making every meal and dessert from scratch and I like to share that from time to time. I'm going to be making five desserts for Mother's Day next week and I will definitely be back to share a few with you!

  1. I bet these are yummy, but for some reason chocolate cookies aren't my favorite... I just love a good old fashioned chocolate chip! :-) I love reading cooking/recipe posts, especially if they are healthy, I'm always looking for new stuff!

    1. I prefer a chocolate chip cookie too. But I usually don't eat the sweets I make so I let my husband and his co workers choose. :)
