So the last time we were down visiting my family, we went to the beach A LOT. Like every day, a lot. I had no idea just now much James was going to LOVE the beach.
He wasn't a fan of the ocean at all and refused to go in. Strange since he is obsessed with our swimming pool but I think the huge waves might have scared him.
However, he LOVED playing in the sand. Digging, building sand castles, all of it.
Now that we're back down visiting my family again James seems to know that he is close to the beach again. I guess he senses it. So every morning he wakes up yelling BEACH! BEACH! And he runs outside to grab his sand toys convinced that we are going to head to the beach right then and there at 6 am.
I guess we will be spending the rest of the week at the beach! I don't mind too much.
Outfit Details-
Tee- Little Boogaweezin
Shorts- Hello Apparel
Sandals- Salt Waters
The beach is SO much fun for kids! I have the best memories of going there when I was little. That being said, my memories of the cold, dreary beach up here in WA are probably quite different than what James gets to experience! ;-)

All beaches are fun I'm sure! I've never visited the beach while in Washington.. I will have to next time. The beaches here are usually very very sunny and breezy. Perfect. But I have to watch out and lather with sunscreen practically every ten min if I don't want to burn!!!
DeleteWhat a cutie!! He's a mini beach bum. :)
ReplyDeleteTotally is! We're going back tomorrow :)
Deleteseriously, i would love to swap out the rest of my week with this little guy and be able to hang at the beach! somehow, i don't think he would approve! enjoy what's left of your sunny, summer days...
